My name is Vered (Hebrew for “Rose”). I was given my name by my father who loved growing all kinds of flowers, including his favorite – the rose. He loved its intoxicating smell and vibrant colors.
As a child I grew up on a farm where I used to wander in the fields and orchards with my dog Louie and encounter seasonal spring flowers, cactus flowers, bright yellow and orange summer fruit and vegetables, eucalyptus (which smell glorious after the rain), and juicy winter citrus fruit. Today, I still live near the same citrus orchard with my dog Louie and my husband and family.
Over the past 15 years, I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a goldsmith and jewelry designer. In my designs I’m trying to recreate and manifest nature as I used to live it as a child, nature at its finest. I make my jewelry primarily with precious metals (14K &18K Gold, and 925 Sterling Silver), precious stones (such as Carnelian, Citrine and Peridot), various types of pearls, and leather.
I invite you to adorn yourself with one of my unique “translations of nature”, and allow yourself to dream along with me. . .
